Installations are categorized as follows:

Nail/Staple Down Installations: Flooring is fastened directly over approved wood subfloor. Ideal for above grade installations.

Floating Installations: Flooring is floated and "locked" into place with locking mechanisms milled directly into the flooring. Ideal for above and below grade installations.

Glue Down Installations: Flooring is glued directly over approved subfloor such as cement or tile. Ideal for above and below grade installations.
